Fr. Gregory's Haiti Report

Fr. Gregory returns safely from Haiti:

"Briefly -- conditions in Haiti were about as to be expected.  Devastation everywhere, but people going about the business of putting their lives back together.  Most are sleeping in tents and makeshift shelters.  Even if their homes (those who had them!) appear to be OK, there is much (legitimate) fear of aftershocks, and even the plausible threat of a far worse earthquake to come (epicenter right in the heart of Port-au-Prince).  Struggles going on to get schools back into session despite the conditions, no small feat.  A lengthier report probably tomorrow on the Mission mailing list (sign on at the Mission website below; click "Keep Informed" if you wish"

The report of Fr. Matthew's ordination on the ROCOR-MP parish website in Missouri says that Fr. Matthew is assigned to the ROCOR-MP parish in Endicott, New York

I visited this parish a few times when I lived in Pennsylvania on occasions when the Susquehanna river flooded the bridge in Tunkhannock, preventing me from getting to Old Forge.  When the union struck in 2007,  a portion of this parish took refuge in the GOC.  Those who remained were decidedly "non-commemorators" refusing to commemorate the MP patriarch.  But they were without a priest, so what did that matter.  Now they have a priest.  But Fr. Matthew refused to accept the assignment unless the parish agreed that he will commemorate the patriarch.  They gave in.

Fr. Matthew entered the Jordanville seminary 10 years ago under the Laurus curriculum.  And here are the results.  There are three sad things here.  One is that the Endicott non-commemorators lost what little strength they had and submitted [succumbed] to the 5-year plan.  The second is that Matthew is so deeply hypnotized by the MP and being used by the MP.  And third is what Matthew's involvement in Haiti means in regards to the commandment to honor thy father and mother.  Even if the union were right, for Matthew to accept any position in Haiti, is wrong.  This is the saddest of all.

A parishioner, NM, in Endicott has made some necessary corrections:

The [Endicott] priest and followers that left ROCOR for the GOC departed when we were all still in ROCOR.  Met. Laurus granted a canonical release to the priest in question effective 1 January 2007. This averted an investigation into the workings of the parish that would have exacerbated the division within the church.

[Since then] The priests who served here over the last three years did not commemorate.  When Bishop George came to our little corner of Holy Orthodoxy last November, he respected our position and the patriarch was not commemorated.  The CD's of the service bare witness to this fact.

[Whether for the parish to give in to Fr. Matthew's insistence on commemorating the MP patriarch,] This has not been decided.  Fr. Matthew has been advised of the divisiveness of commemoration.

Thank you, NM

Well, I pray that the Lord will bring about a peaceful reconciliation between Father Gregory and his wayward son. May Mathew not end up sharing the tragic fate of Absalom-- another son who rebelled against his righteous father, King David, through the evil counsel of Ahitophel.

As for Bishop Michael, there are photos from Canada of his active involvement in the violent kidnapping of the late ROCOR Metropolitan Vitaly (Ustinov.) One wonders if the not so very Rev. Michael is primarily interested in establishing an FSB outpost in Haiti with MP-ROCOR diplomatic immunity and a source of recruits among the local Haitian ROCOR congregations?

Oh No! We are all supposed to believe that the MP only wants to save souls,....and to make everyone into 'Russians'- and to spread (MP-Russian) Orthodoxy, with it's growing far-flung 'missions' and building Russian Orthodox Cathedrals, hither and yon, from Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, and to the far ends of the universe and perhaps even, under the north and south poles and into outer space too!,etc. No doubt, it probably does want a foothold in impoverished Haiti also, ...'to save souls' (?)

For this Mathew Williams, this wretched and ungrateful rebellious son of Fr. Gregory Williams, Fr. Gregory- who himself, in his righteous conscience, rightfully rejected that false- 're-union of the two parts of the Russian Church', all orchestrated by the KGB,.... to so betray not only his righteous father, but also the formerly free Russian Church Abroad, and also to now have become a traitor to his native America, is beyond despicable. Mathrew Williams is a monster! And all his ROCOR-MP 'ordinations' are rubbish and null and utterly void. The MP is run by the KGB, which also runs Russia, which is STILL the international mortal enemy of America. CASE CLOSED!
